Bringing Healing and Hope Through Faith
At Lighthouse Voyage, we believe true healing and restoration begin not just with physical rescue—but with spiritual renewal. The trauma and pain faced by survivors of human trafficking and exploitation run deep, but through faith and God’s love, lives are being restored, hope is being renewed, and futures are being rewritten.
Our approach to care is rooted in the belief that every individual is created in God’s image, with inherent worth and purpose. We seek to not only provide practical support—like housing, education, and healthcare—but also to nurture the spiritual and emotional healing that leads to true freedom.
Church and Spiritual Gathering
One of the most powerful expressions of our spiritual focus is through the local church. Our partners in India have a church building where women from the red-light district are welcomed with open arms every Sunday.
What Happens on Sundays:
Women are warmly welcomed into a safe and loving environment.
A nourishing meal is provided—ensuring they are physically cared for.
Primary supplies (like hygiene products, clothing, and other essentials) are available for those in need.
Worship, prayer, and a message of hope are shared to uplift and encourage hearts.
A supportive community is built, where women can connect with others who understand their journey.
This weekly gathering is more than a church service—it’s a place where healing begins, where women experience love and acceptance, and where they are reminded that they are valued and cherished in God's eyes.
Faith-Based Counselling and Emotional Healing
Restoring survivors of trafficking isn’t just about removing them from danger—it’s about helping them heal from the deep emotional and spiritual wounds left behind.
Our partners provide:
Trauma-Informed Spiritual Counselling – Faith-centred guidance to help survivors process their experiences and begin their healing journey.
Prayer and Spiritual Encouragement – Regular prayer gatherings and one-on-one spiritual support.
Faith-Based Group Therapy – Creating safe spaces where women can share their stories, receive prayer, and be reminded of their worth.
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." – Matthew 11:28
Safe Homes and Spiritual Formation
Our safe homes are not only places of physical safety but also of spiritual refuge. Survivors are welcomed into homes where they can experience peace and security—often for the first time in their lives.
In our safe homes, survivors are offered:
Daily prayer and devotional time.
Bible studies and spiritual mentoring.
Opportunities to participate in worship and Christian community events.
Space to reflect, rest, and encounter God’s love.
Our goal is to create an environment where survivors feel valued, supported, and empowered to explore their faith journey.
Feeding the Body and Soul
In addition to the Sunday meals, our partners provide food and essential supplies to those in need throughout the week. This practical support ensures that survivors are not just spiritually supported but also physically sustained.
Nutritious meals prepared with care and dignity.
Primary supplies, including hygiene products, clothing, and medical support.
Food packages delivered to families in need, ensuring that no one is left behind.
By meeting both physical and spiritual needs, we reflect the heart of Jesus, who cared deeply for the whole person.
"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink..." – Matthew 25:35
Community and Belonging
One of the greatest gifts we can offer survivors is a sense of belonging. Trafficking and exploitation isolate and dehumanize victims, leaving them feeling forgotten and unworthy. Our spiritual outreach aims to restore that sense of connection.
Through:
Small Groups – Creating safe spaces for women to share, grow, and heal together.
Mentorship and Spiritual Leadership – Empowering women to become spiritual leaders in their communities.
Outreach to the Red-Light District – Meeting women where they are and inviting them into a new way of life.
Faith-Based Empowerment Programs – Teaching women to build self-worth and independence through faith.

Impact Through Faith
Faith is not just part of what we do—it’s the foundation of who we are. Our mission to end human trafficking is rooted in the belief that God’s love has the power to heal even the deepest wounds and set the captives free.
When women discover their worth and identity in Christ, they are not only freed from the chains of trafficking—they are empowered to step into a new life with hope, dignity, and purpose.
"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free." – Luke 4:18
