The Problem.

$150 Billion Dollar Criminal Industry

Human Trafficking is the fastest-growing criminal industry globally, second only to the drug trade, with millions of victims worldwide.

15 Million a Year

India accounts for more than one-third of the world’s trafficking victims, individuals trapped in forced labor, sexual exploitation, and other forms of modern slavery.

54% Females | 46% Males

Traffickers prey on the vulnerable for their own profit. Extreme poverty and a lack of job opportunities are chief factors for most individuals who find themselves exploited.

1 in 5 Girls | 1 in 7 Boys

Globally, 650 million (or 1 in 5) girls and women alive today have been subjected to sexual violence as children. Among boys and men, between 410 and 530 million (or around 1 in 7) . Sexual violence against a child refers to “Any deliberate, unwanted and non-essential act of a sexual nature, either completed or attempted, that is perpetrated against a child, including for exploitative purposes, and that results in or has a high likelihood of resulting in injury, pain or psychological suffering.”

Young girls are sold to sex traffickers in rural communities and some in the most extreme circumstances are forced to service up to 20 to 30 customers a day. Sex trafficking takes place in roadside shacks along highways, where truck drivers can pull off, pay a few dollars, and sexually abuse a child. Sex trafficking can also take place in city dance bars, locked rooms down hidden alleyways in big cities, upper floors of hotels, or even in homes.

4 -12 Years Old

There are more people trapped in slavery today than at any other point in human history.

Champion survivors of exploitation by providing resources and support that empower them to rebuild their lives.

By focusing on sustainable development and creating opportunities, we can foster environments where individuals thrive and beacons of light within their society.

Healing from exploitation, trauma, and abuse is a journey we are committed to, no matter how long it takes.

When you champion a survivor you are restoring dignity and helping them rewrite their story; one life at a time.

Every woman and child, no matter their background, has the right to be freed from exploitation and harm.

Here’s how we are actively putting that belief into practice, all thanks to your invaluable support:

  • We work collaboratively with local partners to provide each survivor a safe and nurturing place to call home— a home that not only offers shelter but also serves to restore their dignity and empower them to rewrite their personal stories.

  • Our local partners actively engage within the diverse communities, various cities, educational institutions, and local businesses by providing essential educational tools that teach about the profound impact of exploitation and the significant value of both women and children.

In partnership with these dedicated organizations, we strive to deliver comprehensive aftercare programs, effective counselling services, and trauma-informed care tailored to meet the specific needs of every survivor.

  • We firmly believe that every individual should have the opportunity to access quality education. By doing so, we aim to help transform their dreams into tangible realities.

Our efforts focus on providing comprehensive access to primary, secondary, and post-secondary education for all. In addition to academic pathways, we also offer a diverse range of skills training programs, including tailoring, computer skills, pottery, and much more, to empower individuals with the practical knowledge they need to succeed.
